The Liberal Media at it Again

Let me offer my opinion. There are MANY right wingers that seek public fame and national recognition. Most of them are completely ignored by the main stream media. However one is constantly targeted by the liberal media. Belittled, harassed, made fun of, lied about, etc. Sarah Palin. Why? Why have the media chosen to go out of their way to try to make her look like an idiot. There are plenty of people on the right who want the public forum that are much more of a joke than Palin. However, the media pays no attention to them. Again, I ask why? If she is that incompetent and stupid, wouldn't they just ignore her like they do so many other "incompetent and stupid right wingers"? Why is she different? It's a simple answer. The left is very scared of her. They realize she represents true conservative values. They realize that she is a very capable politician. She is a down to Earth person. She has a wonderful family (and yes, she even have teenagers that make the wrong choices sometimes...OMG, imagine teenagers making the wrong choice). And most importantly she has a huge following that is growing all the time. The left is afraid of this. They are afraid she could become the next Ronald Reagan (I am a huge Ronald Reagan fan and I am not saying she is the next Ronald Reagan...I am saying she could be). And the left did everything they could to make Reagan look like a foolish old man, and the American people saw right through it. It didn't work. And the left does not want that to happen again, so they mercilessly attack Palin and her family.

Learn the facts America, not what Rachael Maddow tells you you should know.

Imagine this.....

The date is September 12th, 2001. The smoke is still rising out of the ruins of the WCT. Rescue workers are still trying to find survivors. The nation is still crying. We are confused, scared, angry. Then President Bush addresses the nation. He tells us how we will search for the people that were responsible for these terrible acts. We will search for them to the ends of the Earth. And when we do find them, we will give them lawyers and let them mount a defense and expose all of our intelligence gathering techniques and put them on trial in New York.......

REALLY?!?!?! Could you imagine what the outrage would have been if he said this? He probably would have been thrown out of office and the country. But yet, today, Obama announced that we were going to do that exact thing. These are not citizens, they do not DESERVE Constitutional Rights.

This country has slowly returned to a pre-9/11 mentality. And I fear this country will pay dearly for that slip.

"Pass something".....for real????

This is disgusting!!!!!! Clinton wants the Senate to "pass something". WAKE UP PEOPLE. THIS IS NOT ABOUT INSURING THE UNINSURED......THIS IS ABOUT CONTROL!!!!! The Democrats don't give a crap about insuring the uninsured. They care about controlling the American people. "Passing something" is just another way o...f saying if we get anything, we can expand it later. It doesn't have to work, it doesn't have to be good, it just has to be something that we can make bigger later and control more people. We have to do this now, because people are coming out of their Obama-mania slumber and we are not going to have this kind of majority in the Congress a year from now, so pass something and we will make it bigger later. PAY ATTENTION AMERICA!!!!

The biggest threat to Democracy

The biggest threat to democracy is the uninformed voter. It kills me when I talk to other voters and ask them who or what they voted for and why and they have no idea why they voted a particular way. All the campaign signs and commercials target is that army of ignorant voters. If you vote for or against someone based on those signs or commercials, what service are you actually doing for your country. None. I get so sick and tired of hearing about how great it was that so many people voted during the last presidential election. A significant amount of people (on both sides) came out to vote for their presidential candidate for whatever reason. The problem is, many had no idea why they were voting for whoever they voted for. But even worse, I am sure those people did not just for for President, but they also voted for the myriad of candidates for Congress, state races, local races, and issues. Did these "well informed" voters research these candidates and issues??? I really doubt it. However, many probably looked at the choices and voted because there was (R) or (D) next to their name or maybe they remembered a commercial or sign and voted. Ignorant people voting IS NOT a good thing. Yes, you have the right to vote. However, people have the right to bear arms, and even the right to bear children...that doesn't mean everyone that has those rights should do it.

The Problem with Europe

Have you noticed that Europe seems to have a lot of problems with the U.S.A? Ever wonder why? I am sure you have probably heard the media's reasons for why Europe hates us. Let's see if I can sum it up....George Bush is mean....America is arrogant.....America is an aggressive nation.....America is this....America is that.....

Unfortunately many people in the country and the world have bought into this stupidity. So many people in our own country have bought into the hate that Europe has for us. People in our own country have started to accept that America is all these bad things. But let's look at the reality of this.

Europe does not hate us because we are aggressive and arrogant, or even because of George Bush. Europe hates us because of one simple thing...jealously. Follow me for a second...

For thousands of years, Europe have been the center of everything that was important. Go all the way back to the Roman Empire. Rome was the center of the "world". Europe was all important. And with the exception of a short period known as the "Dark Ages". Europe has been important. Europe explored and conquered the New World. Europe claimed territories all over the world. Europe was an imperialistic continent. Both World Wars started and were mostly fought in Europe. Even after WWII, Europe was the center of attention during the Cold War....No one ever complained about American aggression or arrogance when we sent our brave young men to fight and die to save Europe from fascism, Nazism, and Communism. Of course not...because Europe was still "important".

But then something happened. The Soviet Union fell, and the other Communist governments fell with them. And the focus of the world shifted from Europe to other parts of the world, such as the Middle East. Europe became less and less relevant. The U.S.A. took center stage as the sole Superpower. We were the only ones that mattered. We have to be the world police. And these European countries do not like that fact that they have become irrelevant. Seriously, when was the last time anyone listened to what France, Spain, Germany or even Great Britain have to say. No one, because no one cares. And the Europeans do not like to be ignored.

So the next time you hear some third world European country talk about how arrogant or aggressive we are, remember, we are the same now as we were during the Cold War, WWII, and WWI, the only difference is that Europe is no longer the center of attention (and barring any unexpected world event, probably never will be again), and they are trying to bring us down to their level of irrelevance. And we definitely don't need a President going around the world apologizing for our success as a world power.

Welcome to my blog

Yes this is just another blog. One of millions. Why is mine special? It isn't. This is nothing more than my ramblings on things I see in the world that just don't make sense. So where is the common sense? I ask myself that all of the time. I just plan to bring the things I see as ridiculous to the light. You may agree and you may not...
